The American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.
The Canada Chapter of AILA is comprised of attorney members in Canada who practice U.S. immigration law, as well as law students with a passion for immigration law and paralegals who are essential to successful immigration legal practices. Our attorney members represent tens of thousands of businesses across industries, investors, foreign students, entertainers, athletes, asylum seekers, and other intending immigrants.
AILA Canada’s leadership works with its members to assist with practice management and adjusting to changes in the law. Furthermore, the Executive Committee and Chapter Liaisons develop and maintain beneficial relationships with U.S. immigration agencies.
